Introducing Moment

The world is their
next adventure.

We’re creating an AI camera that sends kids exploring in their family’s language. Every snap is a chance to find a word, start a conversation, and bring a discovery home.

A new way to look. And learn.

Big curiosity.
Little hands.

A camera to take along.
A companion to wonder with.
A reason to explore.

01 / SNAP

Start with a spark.

An apple on the table. A leaf on the path. Something that makes them stop and wonder.

02 / LISTEN

Give it words.

Yaya names their discovery in your family’s language, with a pronunciation to listen to and try.

03 / SPEAK

Let one word grow.

A word becomes a few words. A few words become a sentence—and something to share with you.

Wonder belongs out here.

More to discover.
More to share.

A little buddy. A big imagination.

Meet Yaya.
Growing, together.

Every discovery feels better
with a friend.

Yaya is the learning buddy at the heart of Moment. We’re designing Yaya to remember their discoveries, offer a little clue when they need one, and make progress visible as they grow.

Their kind of adventure.

So much to say.

An apple is just the beginning. Six little conversation moves help a discovery become something they can talk about.

A little help. Room to grow.

Start where they are.

You’ll be able to adjust the language level as your child grows in confidence.

Beginner

A familiar start.

English guidance introduces words in your family’s language.

Intermediate

A little of both.

Both languages help your child build phrases and keep talking.

Advanced

More to say.

Conversations unfold in your family’s language.

Planned learning experiences. Screens show illustrative language examples; launch languages are still to be announced.

Words that bring us closer

A little word.
A whole world
of connection.

A family language carries stories, memories, and a sense of belonging. We’re starting with language so everyday play can become a reason to speak it together.

Why we’re building River Sprout

From “look what I found” to “let me tell you.”

Their discoveries. Your time together.

Bring the day
back home.

We’re building a parent guide that turns today’s little discoveries into tonight’s conversation.

At the dinner table

A starting point, ready for you.

See what they discovered, hear the words they practiced, and find a simple prompt to try together.

When it’s time to wind down

Their day becomes a story.

Personalized bedtime stories will weave their discoveries and interests into something you can read together or play aloud.

Our story · Meet the little us

We were
those kids.

Leo as a child, sitting beside his toy collection
LeoKorea → China → Los AngelesFounder & CEO
Daniel as a child in a red shirt, with flags painted on his cheeks
DanielKorea → LA KoreatownCo-founder & CTO

Growing up between languages means growing up between worlds.

Leo grew up across South Korea, China, and Los Angeles. Daniel moved from South Korea to Los Angeles’s Koreatown. Both know what it feels like to grow between cultures—and sometimes struggle to find the words that bring you closer to family.

We believe learning should begin with the things a child cares about. With Daniel’s more than nine years of tutoring math and physics, we’re bringing that belief to Moment and Yaya.

Now we’re building for the little us,
and every kid like us.

Our mission

Help curiosity grow
into a lifelong
love of learning.

Through meaningful play, real-world discovery,
and the languages that connect us.

Curiosity first.

Start with their questions. Make space for the unexpected. Let wonder lead the way.

Learn by living.

Bring learning into the world they can see, touch, photograph, and talk about.

Grow together.

Keep family at the heart of the adventure. Celebrate effort, connection, and every little step.

Coming soon

Something wonderful
is taking root.
